Mambu Yarjah is a seasoned development and public service professional with over two decades of experience across diverse sectors including tourism, mining, health, education, and governance. A graduate of Fourah Bay College with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, he currently serves as a Board Member of the National Tourist Board, where his leadership has significantly raised Sierra Leone’s global tourism profile and facilitated increased tourist inflow. His previous roles include Deputy Project Manager at West Africa Zircon Mining Ltd and Programme Assistant at UNAIDS, where he provided strategic support in national health interventions targeting HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. Mambu is a very seasoned Teacher that hugely impacted the lives of many Sierra Leoneans that are in decision- making positions today in moving our nation ahead

Throughout his career, Mambu has demonstrated outstanding competence in project coordination, community mobilization, policy advocacy, and organizational leadership. He has successfully managed national programs for Marie Stopes Sierra Leone, overseen community-based environmental initiatives at Bumbuna Hydroelectric Project, and contributed to post-conflict reintegration efforts with NCDDR. A passionate advocate for public health and social development, his civic engagements with WHO, Helen Keller International, and the Ministry of Health further highlight his commitment to national service and community empowerment.
